The Whack-E-Doo Mom's Blog

I have been affectionately dubbed a "Whack-E-Doo" by my eight year old daughter. Hey, I can't complain - I've been called worse in my lifetime! I hope you enjoy my blog and the ramblings of a Whack-E-Doo Mom.

I've got news!

...and baby makes three. Three babies, that is. Yep, I'm expecting!! We'll have a new addition to our family in early August. We haven't told the girls yet. I want to get through the first trimester before we tell them. Though my eight year old, Megan, suspects somethings up. "Mommy..", she said yesterday, "I'm worried about you. You've been awfully tired lately. I think you need to go to the doctor's." I reassured her that Mom was fine, just a little pooped out. She got a drum set for Christmas. I don't know what Santa was thinking. :) My two year old, Giavanna, got a little guitar. They've been "rocking out" non-stop since Christmas morning. And Dad wondered why Santa put Tylenol in his stocking? ;)

With a new baby on the way and the start of a new year, I've decided it's really time for me to get serious about a serious online business. I'd really like to start a website!! However, there are two big problems that go along with this: #1. I don't know what kind of a website I want to start (which is not nearly as big a problem as #2). and #2. I am completely clueless as to how to go about building a website. I have Microsoft Front Page, along with a slew of other programs that I have no idea how to work. I went into Front Page once, clicked around here and there, got frustrated and proceeded to get the hell out of dodge before the onset of a migraine. I wonder if they sell a Front Page for Dummies book? Gotta' love that Dummies series!

I've looked at two site builders, both of which have free trials, so I suppose there's no harm is fooling around with them. www.homestead.com and www.internetbasedfamily.com . If you've used either, PLEASE hit me up and tell me about your experience!! Well folks...5 o'clock comes early. Time for me to hit the hay.
